The George Shinn Foundation Gift For Sneaker Exchange

Home / Children / The George Shinn Foundation Gift For Sneaker Exchange

We were blessed to be able to partner with the Education Foundation of Indian River County for their Sneaker Exchange Program today. What an experience to see the smiles on the faces of those precious children. Our gift of $15,000 provided shoes and socks for 32 underprivileged children. We also provided a special gift in allowing the children to pick out a second pair of their choice.  It was a great time we won’t forget.  The event was held at Payless ShoeSource.  We look forward to future opportunities to bless and help those in need.

Silas said he wanted a pair of steel toe boots because he lives on a dirt road.
Emilee’s mother passed away 2 years ago. She wanted to get her dad and brother a pair of shoes, too. We gave her some gift cards so they could come pick some out for themselves.

This little guy needed help tying his new sneakers.
